As married couples, God does not only see us as one, but we are three in one, in agreement. When we came together and tide the knot in God, we became one in his eyes. But as our marriage is immersed in Him, and grows more towards him; we come together in prayer as three in one.
You are probably wondering where we are going with this.

When you pray God’s Word together in agreement, you become one. Just like a rope. A rope does not consist of just one strand of fiber, but many.
Merriam-Webster defines Rope:
1. A large stout cord of strands of fibers or wire twisted or braided together.
2. A row or string consisting of things united on as if by braiding, twining, or threading.
Wikipedia defines Rope:
A Group of yarns, fibers, or strands that are twisted or braided together into a larger and stronger form. Rope is thicker so it is stronger than string or twine.

When you come together as husband and wife before God in agreement with His word in prayer. What happens? Three in one.
Three come into agreement. God the Father, you and your spouse.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

The Hebrew word Yada means “To Know” When two people walk together and fully agree, it’s as if they intimately know each other, like coming together and conceiving a child.
It’s the same when two come together in prayer and walking in Yada (to know) that when you take God’s word and pray it out, you will conceive by faith and birth the answer.

Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

That rope is intwined with fibers. When you take 3 ropes and intwine them or braid them together they become one large rope. That large rope becomes stronger and impenetrable rather than the one rope that stands alone.
When you and your spouse come together in prayer standing on Gods word in agreement, what happens? God comes and agrees with you.
God is bound by his word. His word will not fail. Your prayers of agreement will not fail.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Now just ponder this: An effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Consider this: an effectual fervent prayer of two righteous, three righteous, and so on, how much more it availeth much.

Your prayers as husband and wife cannot fail when you agree with God and His word. The devil can try to prevail, but he will not succeed. That prayer that is intwined with the power of God almighty and His word cannot be broken, severed or cut. The answer won’t take long either.

A natural example is rope. When you take three small ropes and tie them in a knot, that represents you, your spouse and God, one.
When you intertwine (braid) the ropes, there is a three-cord strand, and the rope becomes stronger, that represents all three in agreement.
As you finish intertwining the three you tie a knot at the end which represents your answer.

The only time you will not receive an answer is when you get out of agreement and go either your own way or speak contrary to the word of God.
Perfect Bible example is in Acts chapter 2.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all in one accord (agreement) in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Note: Suddenly ”there came.” It will not take long for your answer. There are times the enemy will come and try to deter the answer from coming. That’s why God gave us Ephesians 6:10-18 WE STAND! When it seems like it is taking forever for the answer.

KEEP STANDING AND KEEP IN AGREEMENT, IT WILL COME!
