For ages 18-30 years
Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron so one person sharpens another.
Our purpose is to build a group of young adults who desire to build godly relationships, grow spiritually and impact their classes, workplace, home and other friendships for Christ.
Proverbs 12:26 The righteous choose their friends carefully but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts bad character.”
Our goal is to reach out to this generation as they maneuver into adulthood. This is a time where lasting relationships are built and where tough decisions are made. We want to build a community where young adults are able to feel safe and be themselves without feeling judged.
2 Timothy 3:14-15 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
As young adults enter college or the workforce the tug of the world is all around them. Over 80 percent of young adults who grew up in a Christian home walk away from the Lord. With this in mind we desire to encourage a space where young adults can have conversations and learn from one another with guidance from the Holy Spirit and the word of God.
Isaiah 40 29-31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
We understand that young adults will have their ups and downs. We want to come alongside them and encourage them to not faint or grow weary. Our hope is in the Lord who is our strength.
